Updated skincare routine - toners
Thursday, September 28, 2017Toners
If you don't use a toner, you need to! You'll notice a big difference in your skin. See my post here for more information on why.
The toners I'm currently using are:
1. First Aid Beauty Radiance Pads, £17.00
These are a great budget option as an acid toner, they are quick and easy to use. They are alcohol free, and contain lactic & glycolic acid to slough away dead skin cells and keep your skin clear and smooth.
2. Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, £25.00
This is great for oily, combination skin, and helps fight blackheads, as it contains salicylic acid, which helps clear inside the pores. This has quickly become one of my favourite acid toners.
3. Elemis Balancing Lavender Toner, £23.50
This is a lovely, gentle, purifying, alcohol free toner. If you can't use an acid toner, this is a great alternative. The lavender in here helps with any redness, and is anti-bacterial.
4. The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution, £6.80
This is now one of y new favourite toners - the price tag is incredible! I've purchased quite a few items from The Ordinary, so will be reviewing them soon.
This is a brilliant alternative to the Pixi Glow Tonic - with the combination of glycolic acid and ginseng.
What's your favourite toner?
